Flamenco Class

Feel the beating heart of Spanish culture and immerse yourself in a private flamenco class. Your qualified flamenco teacher will take you through all the basic moves of Flamenco at a pace to suit.

The Flamenco lessons are fun, relaxed and informal. By the end, you will appreciate and understand the intricacies of this ancient dance, and will have had a great time as well.

Your flamenco teacher will take you through the following:

1. Warm up, hand movements and basic body posture
2. Arm movements
3.Clapping - rhythm and form
4. Footwork and tapping
5. Foot and arm coordination with basic steps
6. Choreography
7. Stretch and relax

The dance studio is located in the very centre of Barcelona; your guide will take you there and back.

Henorita's Hint

Why not really get into the spirit and wear a swishy skirt for the class. It is also advisable to wear shoes with a heel so that you can really make those typical claque flamenco noises with your feet!

Typical Schedule

15:00	Your Henorita guide will pick you up from your accommodation
15:10	Quick walk to the dance studio in Barcelona centre
15:30	Change into gym clothes or your swishy skirt
15:45	90 minute private flamenco class
17:15	Class finishes. Your Henorita guide will take you back to your accomodation
