symbol of Barcelona all over the world, this cathedral is still only
half built after over 100 years of work. Even if you´re not big
on architecture, the impressive towers and irregular geometry will
astound you. |

On
entering, you can look around downstairs at models and photos showing
the progress of the construction in the last 100 years or so. However,
we recommend shifting that hangover, and climbing the towers for a beautiful
(and breathless, literally!) view of Barcelona. |

The
Sagrada Familia is not even half finished, and will eventually grow into
the parks at the front and back of the current site. The forecasted completion
date is 2040, but the odds are very long on this target being met ! |
