Built for the Olympic
sailing events of 1992, Port Olympic is now a fashionable marina lined
with all sorts of bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. If you´re
looking for food, there is an endless variety of restaurants, from
the international chains such as Pizza Hut to the excellent seafood
restaurants. |
 |
Our
recommendation is to lunch here. Come about 13:30 (they eat later in
Spain), and walk round the far side of the marina. All these seafood
restaurants have a "menú del día" (lunch of the day), consisting of 3 courses
plus coffee. You do have a choice, if you don´t fancy seafood, and
the prices are normally very reasonable - about 10€. |
 |
Another
tip is to walk past as many restaurants as you can. The early restaurants´
waiters try and entice you in, but the restaurants at the farthest end
are cheaper - just watch the prices fall on the noticeboards as you walk
past each restaurant. |
