Hi,
We had a good time on the boat trip.
I'd strongly recommend Cafe Miranda for hen weekends for food in the evening. The entertainment is quite bizarre (it is a gay place) but really good fun, the food was good and the waiters were very good looking!

Clubs and Restaurants at Maremagnum

If you're up for clubbing, this is one place you could start and finish your evening at. It's the old Barcelona port (Port Vell), but it's been re-vamped with a shopping centre, restaurants, clubs, a multiplex cinema and an aquarium.
Lots of people go down to eat in one of the restaurants, move on to some of the bars, then finish off in a club. To get there, just walk down to the far end of La Rambla, cross a roundabout, and then have no choice but to cross a footbridge onto the Maremagnum complex. That very footbridge is moveable to allow boats into the marina, so don't be surprised if you have to walk round the long way after chucking out time. |

Henorita's Warning
Too many of our groups have been pick-pocketed in Maremagnum. The area seems to be rich pickings for pick-pockets and bag-snatchers.
Henorita recommends you avoid this area of Barcelona and go to Port Olympic instead, which seems to be much safer.
