Cava Vineyard Tour in the Penedes Area
 |
Why not spend a day sampling cava in the Penedes region, world famous for producing cava (sparkling Spanish champagne) as well as some fantastic red and white wines.
We take you to Sant Sadurni D'Ánoia in the heart of the cava producing region. There you will tour a famous cava producing vineyard and the caves underneath where the cava is matured. At the end of the tour, you will taste the cava, plus an opportunity to stock up on some high quality cava at some fantastic prices. |
| You'll then head back to Barcelona for a great Spanish lunch in one of the port areas by the beach. Pick up time is approximately 10:00AM outside your hotel, and after lunch in Barcelona, it's up to you whether you want to head back to the centre, or chill out at the beach. |

Henorita Warning
This is not a piss-up tour, in the sense of any vineyard tour you may have done in France or Italy. We take you to only one cava-producing vineyard, because once you've seen how it's made once, why repeat the experience again and again, just for one free glass of cava at the end of each tour. A very inefficient way of drinking, I'm sure you´ll agree.
However, after the excesses of nights out in Barcelona, this is a great way of chilling out and experiencing a day out in the gorgeous Catalunya countryside, learning something about cava, stocking up on some great inexpensive cava to take home, and finishing off with a great Spanish lunch in the sunshine.
