Is hot air ballooning that one great experience that you've never got 'round' to (excuse the pun) ? Why not convert your visit to Barcelona into the trip of a lifetime. The best part is that Henorita will arrange the complete experience so that you can relax and enjoy yourselves.
So what does it involve ?

The most stable thermals occur when the sun is at its weakest so the most typical time to set off is 7am. We could also arrange it for the early evening, around 6pm. We pick you up from your accommodation with private transport and whisk you off to the take-off area, about 40 minutes outside Barcelona. Here we indulge you with a complete Catalan breakfast including champagne all round.

Then it's off to the take-off point in 4x4s. You can get involved in the set-up process: laying out the balloon and helping to fill it with air. This is when you become the centre of attention as the locals gather round to see you off ! Soon it's all systems go – everybody in the balloon and up, up and away. The trip is obviously dependant to a certain extent on wind but they are competition pilots so they are used to finding the various thermals to change direction, ensuring that you get a good view of the area. |

You'll notice that a lot of rich people live on the outskirts of Barcelona – you can compare pools and "Hola !" the owners and their dogs as they come out to wave ! As you rise to 1000 metres you will get the full effect: far away from the hustle and bustle of city life, 360 degree panoramic views with the mountains in the distance and the sun on the horizon. It's a sense of tranquillity that has to be experienced to be understood. |

The flight itself lasts about 1 hour 15 minutes. Then it's down to earth to be met by the recovery vehicles. You all receive an official flight certificate issued by the pilots. We take you back to Barcelona in your private transport in time to see the other popular form of ballooning in Barcelona : tourists drinking 10 pints on the Rambla ! |
